New Wave X-Men
In comics, illustration, sketchbook on June 22, 2012 at 11:30 amToday’s post features a quick sketch I did of the X-men, inspired by their look from the 1980s era of the comics. Their outfits were heavily influenced by punk and new wave, especially with Storm’s mohawk and leather outfit, Rogue’s spiky hair and Cyclops’ “Flock of Seagulls” look. Wolverine hasn’t changed too much over the years, because why mess with a good thing?
