In my History of Design class taught by the amazing Margaret Richardson, our final project of the semester was to pick an influential graphic designer and create a piece of work that is an interpretation of their style. I chose Herb Lubalin, who worked for many magazines including Avant Garde, fact, Eros and U&lc as well as designing several ITC typefaces including Avant Garde and Serif Gothic. I found this quote from this site. http://signalwriter.blogspot.com/2007/02/colliers-type.html
